Course Objective
The aim of this course is to understand the effects of toxic and natural compounds in foods on health, the relationship between nutrition and gastrointestinal diseases, and topics related to food infections and poisonings.
Course Content
This course explores toxic and natural components in foods and their effects, the contamination of foods with toxic compounds, interactions between foods and toxic substances, the effects of toxic compounds in the body, food additives, and the impact of foods on the gastrointestinal system.
