Course Objective
The objective is to provide enough knowledge and skills in geriatric nursing, to define aging theories and concepts, process-related problems, physiological and psychological changes, to learn appropriate nursing interventions, to explain legal and ethical dimensions in terms of elderly care.
Course Content
Includes the elderly population and their problems in the world and in our country, health problems evolving and changing together with aging process, and approaches to this problems, healthy aging and improving quality of life during old ages and elderly nursing care.
