Course Objective

Theoretical knowledge about complementary and alternative therapies that are becoming popular and popular nowadays, gaining care skills by using complementary treatment methods and planning care from holistic point of view (treatment of mind-body relations and diseases) based criteria to assess their benefits.

Course Content

Includes basic concepts about complementary and alternative therapies, their historical development, complementary and alternative medicine systems.

  3. Knows the legal regulations in complementary and alternative therapies, understands and interprets the ethical dimensions of these treatment methods
  4. Acquiring the theoretical knowledge about complementary and alternative treatment methods which are popular and popular today
  5. Uses evidence-based criteria to develop knowledge based on complementary and alternative treatment methods and to assess the benefits of these methods
  6. Explains the importance of using mind-body medicine, biology-based treatments, manipulative and body-based methods, energy therapies and nursing care applications
