Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences · Software Engineering (English) · Undergraduate

ECTS: 5 T+P+L: 3+0+0 Departmental Elective
Coordinator: Doç. Dr. Erdem KÖYMEN

Course Objective

Within the scope of the course, students learn to recognize the elements of 3D rendering, modeling, space creation, light shadow making, texture, coating and animation techniques, as well as advanced 3D digital design programs, the processes of work in this environment, and learn to interpret and interpret ideas, it is aimed to reveal their own original work.

Course Content

In this course, students explore various techniques such as polygonal modeling, digital sculpture, texture, surface materials, and simple regulation. At the same time, while students learn advanced 3D digital design programs, the processes of work in this environment, and learn to interpret and generate ideas within the scope of the course, they present their original work.

Course Learning Outcomes

  1. It produces moving images by using different modeling types features.
  2. Creates effective digital models using modeling techniques and tools.
  3. Makes original designs using 3D rendering tools.
  4. It uses interactive 3D painting and surface sculpting tools to effectively detail 3D models.
  5. Associates the theoretical and applied knowledge by making interdisciplinary studies with the knowledge acquired in the course.
