Course Objective
To provide students to acquire bioinformatics at the theoretical level.
To introduce biological databases.
To provide program selection according to biological requirements.
Course Content
This course includes bioinformatics principles, statistical methods, databases and the usage of these databases,
research and designs required for molecular biology and genetic experiments.
Course Learning Outcomes
- Have basic knowledge of bioinformatics usage areas.
- Collect and process information.
- Learn the selection and application of necessary databases.
- Evaluate molecular results.
- Design specific primers.
