Course Objective

In this course, the student is given information about model making by making scaled models of the building and building details in traditional civil and monumental architecture and it is tried to develop model making skills.

Course Content

In this course, students are introduced to model-making through the construction of scaled models of buildings and architectural details from traditional vernacular and monumental architecture, with the aim of developing their model-making knowledge and skills. The course covers the definition of architectural models, types of models, examination of model examples, materials used in model-making and their characteristics, cutting techniques, and model-making exercises at different scales.

  2. Farklı ölçeklerde maket yapım tekniklerini öğrenir
  3. Basit bir yapı veya yapı elemanının farklı ölçeklerde maketini farklı malzemeler araştırarak yapar
  4. Tasarım aşamalarında ve sonucunda varılan noktanın üçüncü boyuttaki sonucunu görmek amacıyla maket yapabilir
