Course Objective

This course is a theoretical review of the concepts of introduction to architecture. The basic concepts of architecture, the relation of architecture profession with other professional groups, the architectural design process and its nature, phases, theoretical approaches and techniques related to the design process are discussed.

Course Content

The course is conducted with classroom exercises that will allow the student conducting the library and internet research to re-interpret the architectural concepts and design criteria with two-dimensional and three-dimensional productions
