Course Objective
The aim of this course is to introduce students to the importance of the systems approach in the analysis and development of technology-based and/or engineering systems and to define the system analysis and design steps. The course aims to first teach the methods and methods required for system analysis and design theoretically, and then to help students reinforce their theoretical learning with practice by having them do project-based studies.
Course Content
This course includes Introduction to systems thinking and system-related concepts, System development life cycle (SDLC), agile and object-oriented system development, Determination of needs and goals / Class work of the final project, Project management of system development projects, Context-level data flow diagrams, entity-relationship models. Modeling organizations and systems using use cases and usage scenarios.,Interactive and unobtrusive information gathering techniques,Developing a system model using logical and physical Data flow diagrams (DFDs),Data dictionaries, data flows, data elements, data structures, and Analyzing data-driven systems using data repositories.,Data governance, enterprise systems and virtual organizations.,Designing effective system outputs.,Designing effective system inputs,Technology Based Systems / Innovation / Digital Age / Software Based Systems.
