Course Objective
to introduce jobshop and work environment, to gain knowledge and experience about operation methods and equipment used in manufacturing technology and to gain experience in applying learned theoretical knowledge into practice.
Course Content
Jobshop layout, equipment, hardware, and product study, maintenance planning system study
Software application, engineering economy application.

Course Learning Outcomes
- 1. Student will be familiar with measurement tools and able to measure different components with existing measuring methods.
- 2. Student will be familiar with manufacturing methods and machine tools used in jobshops.
- 3. Student will be able to apply proper manufacturing processes for a product.
- 4. Student will be able to apply the required safety rules in jobshops
- 5. Student gains knowledge about diversities in manufacturing methods.
- 6. Student gains practice of CAD/CAM implementations.
- 7. Student will be able to practice theoretical knowledge in a jobshop environment.
