Coordinator: Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Aydın TEYMOURIFAR

Course Objective

To gain skills with object oriented software application in simulation modeling and analysis.

Course Content

A first course in discrete modeling and simulation for undergraduate students. The course covers modeling, simulation design, analysis of output for all types of systems and processes using an object-oriented software application. Proper design and analysis of discrete modeling and simulation experiments is emphasized.

Course Learning Outcomes

  1. 1.Understand the definition of simulation and how to develop and analyze a simulation model.2.Understand the fundamental logic, structure, components and management of simulation modeling. 3.Demonstrate knowledge of how to use Promodel.4.Build a simulation model with basic operations and inputs .5.Build a simulation model with detailed operations. 6.Perform statistical analysis of output from terminating simulation model.
