Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences · Computer Engineering · Undergraduate
Course Objective
In this course, students will acquire comprehensive skills in mobile application development, beginning with mastering design concepts using Figma. They will learn to create intuitive and aesthetically pleasing app interfaces. Students will gain proficiency in Flutter and Dart, understanding their fundamentals and advanced features to build robust and dynamic mobile applications. The course includes a hands-on project where students will integrate their apps with a backend using Supabase, enhancing their understanding of backend integration, data management, and real-time functionalities. By the end of the course, students will be capable of designing, developing, and deploying fully functional mobile applications, equipped with both frontend and backend skills, ready to tackle real-world challenges in mobile development.
Course Content
The aim of this course is to provide students with the essential knowledge and practical skills required for successful mobile application development. By starting with design principles using Figma, students will learn to create user-friendly and visually appealing app interfaces. The course will then focus on developing applications using Flutter and Dart, enabling students to build robust and dynamic mobile applications. Additionally, through a hands-on project integrating Supabase as the backend, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of backend integration, data management, and real-time functionalities. This course prepares students to confidently design, develop, and deploy complete mobile applications, equipping them with the tools and expertise to excel in the rapidly evolving field of mobile development.
Course Learning Outcomes
