Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences · Computer Engineering · Undergraduate
Course Objective
This course is aimed at presenting basic information about a student database systems that will be computer or software engineer. Derste, relational data model, and entropy data model as a design tool are extensively discussed. Functional and multi-valued dependencies are processed in detail in the normalization process so that relational database schema design can be done. System components such as SQL database language and SQL query language, such as process management, indexing, constraints, triggers and authorization, are studied in detail with laboratory applications showing different methods of database programming.
