Course Objective
The aim of this course is to enable prospective teachers to gain competence in stages such as selecting, designing, developing and evaluating materials by having knowledge about materials and design principles that can be used in the teaching process thanks to instructional technologies.
Course Content
Concepts related to instructional technology, characteristics of various instructional technologies, the place and use of instructional technologies in the teaching process, determining the technology needs of the school or classroom, making and executing appropriate technology planning, developing two and three dimensional materials through instructional technologies, examining educational software.
Rules
Participation in group work is mandatory. Students who do not participate will fail.

- Design effective teaching materials related to the field.
- Classes according to the properties of tools and equipment used in educational environments.
- To be able to explain the historical development and theoretical foundations of technology and instructional technologies.
- Explain the relationship between instructional technology and communication.
- Explain the process of preparation of instructional materials.
- Describe the properties of different teaching materials.
- Explain the importance and place of instructional technologies in communication process.
- Prepare materials to be used in group work and dual studies.
- Adapt the different materials to their own environment for use in teaching Turkish.
- Recognize the factors that play a role in the selection of teaching materials.
