Course Objective

To acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to develop the health of the individual, family and society by learning the basic concepts of health and health protection and development.

Course Content

Pertaining to human health in Turkey, fatal diseases and give our students the education of urgent issues.

Course Learning Outcomes

  1. Have knowledge and skills in emergency and first aid issues.
  2. Explain the risk factors affecting health.
  3. Explains the basic concepts of health promotion.
  4. Gains important information about health protection and improvement
  5. Gains knowledge on healthy nutrition and disease prevention
  6. Discuss the risks of smoking, alcohol and substance abuse
  7. Turkey's diagnosis of major diseases and health problems.
