Course Objective

In this lesson game and game types will be given information. Teaching and different areas of improvement of basic play skills will
be supported, taking into account the development and learning characteristics of children in need of special education. Training
will be conducted to plan for the activities of children and to use music in children with special needs.

Basic concepts Game and music definition of game and its importance Theoretical explanations of the game Game development
and characteristics of children Cognitive and social game development Game development and game features in children who need
special education Teaching through play in special education, use and adaptation of the game with children who need special
education

Course Learning Outcomes

  1. Knows the basic concepts of play and its effect on child development.
  2. Prepares the appropriate physical environment for play and music education.
  3. Prepares appropriate materials needed for game and music education.
  4. It informs the children in need of special education about the use and adaptation of the game in education.
