Course Objective
In this course, students will have knowledge about mathematical modeling concepts and modeling processes, work on different modeling problems, develop their modeling problems, learn about modeling in class, to design modeling applications It is aimed to examine and evaluate.
Course Content
Mathematical modeling and problem solving; models of mathematics teaching and modeling process; modeling cycle (problem identification, manipulation, prediction, and verification), model development steps; principles of model development; the application of modeling activities in mathematics classes and the role of teachers; preparing mathematical modeling activities and monitoring students' mathematical thinking processes.
