Course Objective
It is aimed to teach the adaptation of education according to individual needs by recognizing the groups with different special education needs and understanding the processes of evaluating and guiding individuals in these groups.
Course Content
The definition and basic principles of special education, the history of special education, diagnosis and evaluation and the characteristics of individuals with special needs will be examined.

- Tell the characteristics of individuals with special needs.
- Provides information and prepare education plan about vocational training and related additional special education services
