Course Objective

The aim of this course is to teach the historical development of children's literature and the importance of children's publications in terms of all areas of development, in particular for children.

Literature, Children's Literature and its historical development, Children's publications and the importance of the child in terms of development areas, Characteristics of children's literature products, Children's literature of children's literature, What to do in the next teaching levels and to be a good reader. Examination of children's literature products of different age groups and preparing samples

Course Learning Outcomes

  1. Define literature and children's literature and explain the effects of individual on development
  2. To follow and evaluate children's literature and media publications for children.
  3. Analyzes children's literature prepared for children by categorizing according to age groups.
  4. Presents children's literature products for preschool children with the right methods and techniques.
