Course Objective

Familiarizing students with literary eras, the most important stages in the history of Arabic literature, and its most important topics, texts, and poets

Course Content

 

A study of the most important stages of Arabic literature, its most important characteristics, and its most important topics, and a study of examples of poetry and prose texts

Explanations

There are two examinations in the semester  . The  mark of the examination is 100

Rules

The student must attend the classes by 70% at least

Course Learning Outcomes

  1. That the student becomes able to appreciate the aesthetics of literary texts
  2. The student will be able to understand literary works by learning about literature in the context of culture and history.
  3. To understand the literary texts in their historical, social and cultural context
  4. The student will understand the most important schools of thought and literary art in the history of Arabic literature
