Course Objective
This course aims to provide students with the ability to fully analyze, correctly understand, translate and interpret original Arabic texts in terms of Grammar (Irab).
Course Content
In the course, students read original Arabic texts written in different fields and subjects, analyze them in terms of grammar, translate complex sentences, identify the main and side ideas of the texts and interpret them with their own sentences.
Explanations
The course lasts a total of 16 weeks, consisting of 8 weeks of instruction, followed by a midterm exam, and then 7 additional weeks of instruction.
Since the 16th week coincides with an official holiday, no classes will be held that week.
In the overall assessment, the midterm exam accounts for 40%, class attendance and participation for 10%, and the final exam for 50%.
The participation grade will be awarded based on regular attendance and active participation in class.
The office hours for the course Iʿrāb Analysis II are on Tuesdays from 14:30 to 15:30, before the class.
Rules
In order to gain the right to take the exams of this course, the student should be at least 70%.
In order to participate 70%, the student must attend the course for at least 10 weeks. I mean, Class attendance grade is determined according to the student's attendance of lessons and his participation in class activities.
The student should come to each lesson by doing the preparatory work.
