The objective of this course is to enable students to comprehend the dynamic relationship between sustainability principles and global trade and finance systems. The course aims to analyze the transformative impacts of green economic policies, international financial instruments, and carbon markets on global trade flows. Through theoretical frameworks and case studies, it is intended for students to acquire the skills to develop and evaluate sustainable policy strategies that balance economic growth with environmental and social responsibility.

This course explores the interconnections between sustainability, international trade, and finance policies. It examines how global economic activities influence environmental and social outcomes, and how sustainability-oriented policies reshape international trade and financial flows. Key topics include sustainable development goals (SDGs), green trade policies, sustainable finance instruments, carbon pricing mechanisms, and the role of international institutions. By combining theoretical frameworks with real-world case studies, the course aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of how trade and finance can contribute to sustainable development.
