Course Objective
The main purpose of this course is to make a detailed analysis of fund management methods such as buying and selling, karz, ijarah, mudaraba, musharakah and riba in terms of fiqh and economy, and to make a general fiqh and technical analysis of fund collection and evaluation methods of banking, insurance and capital market institutions. Thus, providing undergraduate students with a general perspective on the subjects.
Course Content
Within the scope of this course, first of all, Islam's view on the world in general and the economy in particular will be revealed. Afther the principles set forth by Islamic jurisprudence regarding the basic transactions of financial institutions will be determined.
In terms of concrete topics of the course, general principles will be presented by analyzing buying and selling, karz, ijarah, riba and other financial transactions from a fiqh perspective, and it will be tried to analyze to what extent these principles are effective in the fund management transactions of banking, insurance and other financial institutions.
Course Learning Outcomes
- Learning to look at today's financial transactions from a fiqh and economic perspective.
- Learning what Islamic economics is.
- To gain the ability to analyze basic financial transactions and methods in terms of fiqh.
