Course Objective

To understand the functions, components, instrument and pricing mechanims of capital markets such as money, bonds, stock, mutual fund and derivative markets. 

Course Content

Examine various Capital market instruments such as money markets,  stocks, bonds,  derivatives, mutual funds and Islamic capital markets.

  3. To understand stocks and stock markets
  4. Able to understand different pricing mechanisms of stocks
  5. To examine roles of mutual funds and derivatives

  9. To examine products of treasury markets
