Course Objective

1.To provide a comprehensive understanding of statistical concepts and their applications in Business, Economics and Finance. 
2.To develop students' ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data using appropriate statistical tools. 
3.To familiarize students with statistical software such as Excel for practical analysis.
4. To enhance problem-solving skills by applying statistical methods to Business, Economics and Finance problems.

Course Content

This course introduces Business, Economics and Finance students to foundational concepts in statistics, including descriptive statistics, probability, sampling methods, estimation, hypothesis testing, and goodness-of-fit tests. The curriculum emphasizes practical applications using statistical software such as SPSS and MS Excel, enabling students to analyze real-world engineering data effectively.
