Course Objective

The objective of international marketing course is to equip students with the necessary knowledge and tools to develop marketing strategies for international markets in different cultural, political, legal and economic structures

Course Content

This course examines the world of international marketing, explaining what international marketing is, what its main goals and functions are. A wide variety of topics are covered, including but not limited to international trade environment, international market entry strategies, product, pricing, promotion, and distribution strategies in international arena.

  1. Demonstrate collaboration, leadership and presentation skills through teamwork in the context of international marketing.
  2. Analyze the ethical, social and environmental impacts of international marketing activities and develop sustainability-oriented strategies.
  3. Demonstrate an understanding of global marketing principles, including trade environments, segmentation, targeting, and positioning, to evaluate international market opportunities.
  4. Critically analyze global market entry strategies, sourcing decisions, and competitive advantage frameworks to formulate actionable international business strategies.
  5. Assess branding, product development, pricing, and distribution strategies to optimize market performance in diverse international contexts.
  6. Design integrated global marketing communication plans, including advertising, public relations, digital marketing, and sales promotions, to effectively engage international audiences.
