Course Objective

This course aims to provide a comprehensive knowledge and detailed understanding about financial economics. Main objectives of the course are to help students to manage financial resources and to improve their employability in the job market.

Course Content

In this course we will study and evaluate the following topics:

  • Financial systems; the meaning and the behaviour of interest rates; the risk and term of structure of interest rates; the stock market; the bond market; an economic analysis of financial structure; financial crises in advanced and emerging economies; the foreign exchange market and the international financial system.
