Prof. Dr. Nihat ERDOĞMUŞ

He graduated from the Department of Psychology at Boğaziçi University in 1992. He received his master's degree from the Division of Behavioural Sciences of the Faculty of Business Administration at Istanbul University in 1995, and his doctorate from the Management and Organization programme of the Institute of Social Sciences at Sakarya University in 1998. He became an associate professor in Business Management in 1999 and a professor in Management and Organization in 2005.

In 2002, he worked as a researcher at Newcastle Business School, Northumbria University, in the UK. He held academic and administrative positions at Sakarya, Kocaeli, Istanbul Şehir and Yıldız Technical Universities. He provided consultancy support and carried out projects in education, research and institutionalization for many private, public and civil society organizations related to his field. Between 2011 and 2014, he served as Adviser to the President of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK).

He contributed to the development of the higher education information management system. He served as a Member of the Board of Directors of Anadolu Agency and managed AA's institutionalization and internationalization projects. At the Presidential Human Resources Office, he served as a consultant on projects aimed at developing human resources and career management in the public sector. He was editor-in-chief of the Journal of Business Ethics (İş Ahlakı Dergisi) and contributed to the journal's founding and development. He served as a board member on various boards at TÜBİTAK. He continues to serve as an evaluator for the Higher Education Quality Council. He is a member of the TÜBA Science and Education Policies Working Group. He serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the İLKE Foundation. As of October 2025, he began working as a faculty member in the Department of Business Administration of the Faculty of Business and Management Sciences at Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University. He currently serves as Vice Rector.
