Students will be taught the key issues and debates related to the theories of peace and practices of peacebuilding, statebuilding, conflict management, resolution, and transformation. Further, they will be aware of key academic and policy publcations on peacebuilding, international governance structures, statebuilding, and the role of key actors and institutions including NGOs and military and other security actors.
Dersin Öğrenme Çıktıları
- Students will develop a critical understanding of general and local approaches to peacebuilding. Students will also be able to apply these approaches to case studies in the process of identifying divisive issues and common grounds in a conflict-ridden society.
